We stayed at Southcliffe for five nights at the end of September, beginning of October for my wifes Birthday on the 1st of the month. We have stayed here many times before with the previous owners. The experience was virtually identical to our previous visits which has always been a very good one. Ceri & David are very good hosts and... More

On first impressions, the place was incredibly clean and tidy. The owners, David and Ceri were quick to welcome us and offer advice on our stay, what was in the area, where the good places to eat were (They were so prepared as to have a map detailing all of these things for us!) After this, we went up to... More

Just returned from 2 day's stay. This is probably the best B&B we have ever stayed in - virtual top quality hotel service. No faults at all. Attention to detail second to none. Cannot recommend highly enough. We hope to revisit again, and definitely will if we visit North Devon again.

My girlfriend and I stayed at the Southcliffe B&B for a long weekend recently, and cannot recommend the place highly enough. Our room was very comfortable, well-appointed and cleaned perfectly each day; it was nice and warm also (after we remembered to turn the radiator on!). Tea, coffee, biscuits, bottled water etc. were all replenished daily which was a nice... More

I stayed here just for a flying visit to Lynton to take part in a trail run on the beautiful cliffs. David and Ceri were very welcoming and accommodating of my requests for an early breakfast and the use of an iphone charger! I wasn't around for long but we had a nice chat! The room was clean and the... More

My wife and I really enjoyed our stay at this clean and comfortable B & B. The owners, David and Ceri, couldn't have been more pleasant and helpful. They made themselves available to recommend trips out and places to eat in the evening. We will be back!

Stayed at Southcliffe for 3 nights. What a lovely, quiet place Lynton is. David and Ceri were so welcoming, nothing was too much trouble for them. On arrival we were greeted with a pot of tea and lemon drizzle cake. We had hoped to stay in one of the balcony rooms but as my husband is 6'5", we asked for... More

Having visited Lynton many times in the past 40 years, we first stayed with David & Ceri at Easter 2014, as one of their first guests. Having enjoyed a very good stay, we duly rebooked for Easter 2015 but a leg injury meant that we had to cancel at short notice and subsequent rehabilitation prevented us from seeing Lynton for...
