Perfect three days in this beautiful place. I didn't expected hens and books they were a good surprise! The room was clean, has a fab view. It is close to everything, but very calm. Friendly hosts with good advices about the surroundings. Lovely lounge with chess board. For me it was a perfect relaxing, I am sure that it wasn't...

The location is perfect for being in the center of Lynton and very close to the Cliff Railway. The level parking is atop of a steep driveway, the B&B offers great views from most of the rooms as well as a nice front patio area with outdoor furniture to take in the beautiful surrounding hills. The breakfast is as good...

We had a really lovely stay at this B and B. It is ideally located (and has parking) very close to the Cliff Railway and Valley of the Rocks, as well as near restaurants in Lynton. The room was very clean and had a fabulous private bathroom. The breakfasts were plentiful and there was a wide choice! Heather and Alwyn...

It was a nice room for a family, with a beautiful view over the hills. There was a lovely breakfast, and with many choices available. Many walking routes nearby, where you got to experience some of the hills. Very friendly hosts.

We've just come back from an excellent stay at Rockvale. Everything just spot on, clean, excellent food from a very wide menu for breakfast and a sensibly priced evening meal menu, served in style. Rockvale has got the widest range of bottled real ales I've come across in a guest house, and joy of joys, at room temperature! The other...

A quintessentially traditional British B&B with fabulous views over Lynton. Run by sisters Heather and Alwyn, you couldn't hope to find two more kind, considerate and amenable hosts. They were particularly accommodating for our 7 month old daughter, sorting out special breakfasts and rescuing the babysitting grandparents when there was no phone reception in the restaurant when we were out...

8 of us stayed in Lynton whilst walking the North Devon coastal path and the guest house is located at the top of a steep drive about 100m long. Rooms are very clean and there is a very good choice of breakfast as well as a large guest lounge with large windows to take in the view across Lynton itself...

So, I'm back in the UK, this time solo, and heading for Exmoor. Should I stay in Lynton? I knew nothing about it but thought that I'd give it a try. I'm sooooo glad I did. This place is fantastic with coastal views to rival anywhere in the world and great walks straight from town. I also made the right...

We had a really good time in this place. The room was confortable and clean. The owner is really nice. One of us is gluten and dairy free and she did gluten-free bread and offered her soya milk. There is a lot of choice for breakfast ( fruits, yogourts and juive self-service bar). We asked for lunch-box for the next...

Lynton has really exceeded our expectations, and this guest house in particular. Stayed with my family for one night at first, but we were so pleased we decided to come back the next day. The room was nicely decorated in a sea-themed fashion with a lot of details. Very clean. The breakfast has a great selection of dishes, and the...
