Stayed here and have to say the service we received was first class. The lady who owns this hotel was brilliant and couldn't do enough to help. Room was really clean and had a fantastic view over Exeter from the rear of the hotel and was close enough to walk into town. Really clean and had all the facilities you... More

As this was a bit last minute, and our usual (the Telstar) was full, we were happy to find the Oakcliffe. No online reservations, so I phoned up, just to be sure. Great! Our one night was sorted - our trip could go ahead! So I booked the rest of the tickets for the gig, the travel and all the... More

Thank you for your comment. We appreciate all comments but we feel you are being extremely unfair. We did endeavoured to contact you with in 5 minutes of you calling to make this booking as unfortunately we did make a mistake, alternative accommodation was booked for you but unfortunately you failed to respond to any of my calls , voicemail... Having stayed at the neighbouring Telstar B&B a couple of times, we decided to give the Oakcliffe a go. As with the Telstar the location is very good - approx 10 mins walk from City Centre, and it too provides parking, which is always a bonus. The owners/staff are extremely pleasant but sadly the comfort of the stay was disappointing.... More

Don't hesitate to stay at The Oakcliffe, brilliant location right on the edge of Exeter city centre, handy for everything. The owner was very welcoming, friendly and nothing was too much trouble for her. We had a double room with en suite which was spacious and spotless, as was the rest of the hotel. Breakfast was lovely too and the... More

This quiet B&B is walking distance to everything you may need in the city center. My room was small but clean and quiet, the staff invariably kind and the full English breakfast excellent. There's nothing fancy about this place: it's a good, reliable B&B. Not cheap, but still a good option in Exeter.

We stayed at the Oakcliffe B&B for 2 nights. It is a well situated hotel, a short walk from the University and city center and near pubs such as the Imperial and the Farmers Union. Our double bedroom with ensuite (which was small) was cosy, clean and well presented. Be aware that there is a narrow staircase to rooms upstairs,... More

I stayed here for a night after a wedding at the University. It's well-located, a short walk from the Uni and the town itself. The room was a reasonable size, clean and well-presented. The staff were friendly and helpful, and also fairly sympathetic to my slightly hung-over state at breakfast in the morning! Parking could be a bit tight if... More

Has more a hotel feel than a B&B, some homely touches missing. Parking off street, good location, room great and well presented. Room comfortable and clean. Breakfast was beautiful and owner was extremely friendly and easy going. Would stay again.

I overnighted on a motorbike trip north,a great choice. Friendly, chatty hostess, clean pleasant room at a good price with a great brecci too. Hot shower, though my single room not ensuite. Free, fairly secure off road parking at the rear of the property too. I'd certainly return, and I am quite fussy!
