I stayed in this hotel during May 2010. I found our room small and cramped and the only natural light came from glass doors that opened into the bathroom. The staircase to reception was so narrow we couldnt take our suitcase down and my 6 ft Hubbie kept banging his head on low staircase ceiling. I personally cant stand 1990s...

We booked online from Australia not knowing what to find. We were not disappointed. The room was delightful. The room wasn't overly large but certainly enough room for the two of us with a comfy bed and ensuite. All the staff were very helpful and friendly. SilverSprings is also one of the top hotels that are eco friendly and encourage...

I think this hotel is amazing! The rooms are decorated beautifully - such a pleasure to be able to stay there. I've so far booked two singles and arrived to find myself in a double which is just so comfortable. The hotel is as environmentally friendly as you could wish to find and are also supportive of local business around...

Business trip to Exeter and prompted by good reviews. Room very pleasant and nice touches of complimentary chocolate and small bottle of wine. Breakfast very good. Staff very helpful and friendly. Location not the prettiest street in the city but great location, easy to walk everywhere including from St Davids train station. Liked the 'eco' focus and use of local...

Booked to stay 2 nights over Easter but only stayed one. Car park is an alley to the rear only wide enough for 2 cars and if someone parks in front of you don't expect to get out in a hurry. The reception is in the basement which mean't our room was up six flights of steep stairs with no...

We have stayed at Silversprings many times having used different rooms. All are extremely good with many "little extras". The beds are extremely comfortable and the bathrooms superb with soft fluffy towels and all the necessary toiletries you could need. The breakfast menu is amazing and the food is freshly cooked to order. The location is ideal being close to...

I stayed at the Silver Springs for work. The rooms are tastefully decorated and the staff are marvellous; nothing is too much trouble. What really impressed me was the eco friendly aspect of the hotel-each room is given a bag to put recycling in. We all do it at home, so why not when staying away? The location is great...
