Arrived after 3pm, the hotel's allocated parking spaces were gone so the kind owner allowed us to park in her garage behind the hotel! (Car park opposite) We were going to a gig at the Uni and wanted to eat in town. This hotel is just between the two! The Uni is 7-8 minutes walk one way, the centre 7-8...

Arriving mid-afternoon, we were very warmly welcomed. In the evening Ronette the owner spent ages helping us plan our onward journey, sharing life stories on the way. A very special new friend. We enjoyed the excellent coffee and buffet breakfast next morning. We definitely plan to stay here next time we are in Exeter.

Situated in a great part of Exeter for public transport and for exploring Exeter. Yes the place is in need of a refurb but that aside the twin room with ensuite was ideal for us. The breakfast on offer was more than plentiful and tasty. Would certainly recommend.

And situated in a quiet side street ensured good quality sleep. Very welcoming and good breakfasts. Only drawback - single bedroom small (but adequate for my...

We stayed here for one night whilst attending an event at the Exeter Phoenix. Very convenient, relatively easy to park in a public car park nearby and perfectly adequate for what we wanted. It could be our argued that some of the decor is a little bit dated, but that did not matter for us. Good buffet style breakfast, would...

Was clean and comfortable and breakfast was nice. Staff very friendly. Bit faded and jaded needs updating in a few places. Very small TV. Would stay again if was in area as it was local to town centre.

We stayed for three nights. It was a quiet street near the centre of Exeter and near the train station, within easy walking of both. Our room was en suite in the front of of the building and very pleasant, it was very clean. The breakfast was good. Overall it was fairly basic but extremely well priced, everything you could...

We checked in on the 9th September 2016 for two nights. We were welcomed warmly and the check in was great. The room was dated and certainly not worth the rate we paid. The worst thing was that the cups were not washed and towels left exactly where we left them in the morning. Housekeeping, attention to detail and service...
