You can’t fault it – a Travelodge doesn’t set out to provide upmarket accommodation, but it does provide, clean, fresh, reasonably sized rooms, with good quality towels, bed linen and bathrooms at a stunning price. For a functional rest, this ticks all the boxes.

Hotel is very easy to locate, reception staff very friendly and helpful. Our room was very clean and good value, communal areas however, were not, carpets dirty and rubbish left by other guests. Apart from that great stay.

Although full of workers watching football, we had a great meal; fish and chips, scampi and chips plus drinks and puddings. Good service, value for money. Scampi was superb. Not somewhere you would come for a special night out but clean and tidy.
