This is a friendly pub with a great atmosphere on match day. There is an outside barbecue or good food in the restaurant. If you want to eat in the restaurant book in advance as it gets very busy. Just over the motorway from Sandy Park.

Attending a meeting starting at 9am in Exeter when you live in Newcastle means you travel the night before. As it is a late flight you just really need somewhere to put your head down. This place was perfect. Arrived too late for food but the bar was still open. The room was basic, clean and comfortable. I had breakfast...

We were very happy with meal. Initially we thought that the menu was limited but when we saw the specials board we realised that there was something for everyone. I chose fish and chips, the waitress advised me to go for the child's portion as she said that fish in the normal size was like a whale. She was absolutely...

The rooms don't look much from the outside, and look very small, but once we opened the door we were pleasantly surprised. Initially everything looked very nice, clean and modern. If you look a little...

I have never had a bad meal here plus also attend the pre-game lunches before Exeter Chiefs play, which again is...

Sunday lunch a must, lovely Yorkshire puds and crispy crackling just like it should be, curries full flavoured, not so hot you cannot appreciate the spices used, delicious. Fish n chips light crispy and real chips. Starters...

Have only ever been in here for drinks before the rugby and it gets very busy ! Came on Easter Monday night and the pub was very quiet, that said the food was really good. We had the baked Camembert to start followed by the lamb hot pot and pork tenderloin all were superb ! My only gripe would that...
