My partner and I stayed here for a night while we were down to watch Ulster vs Exeter Chiefs on the Sunday (sadly we lost). What a beautiful building and fantastic staff! The breakfast was probably THE best I've ever eaten, all the better for being locally sourced and produced. The sausages, in particular were outstanding. Really genuinely faultless, and...

We booked this hotel for it's location and offer of a family room. It is very well placed for the town centre, train station and university. It was an easy check in with the lovely receptionist. It is really cute. A little courtyard with parking at the rear, and a little garden to catch the last of the rays. We...

Stayed for a long weekend for a Christmas Shopping Trip. Close to centre of Exeter 10 mins walk. Breakfast was delicious all freshly cooked to order. Friendly staff and comfortable rooms. Good selection of tea and coffee etc in room. Could do with thicker curtains in ground floor room. Overall a really nice place to stay and would definitely go...

My son is attending the University so went to spend a few days to see how he has settled in. I caught the train from Paddington and got off at Exeter St David. This is the closer station. You exit the station, go up the walking alley (it truly is up so great workout with luggage), turn left on St...

Spent two nights here visiting my son at university. Car parking is tight but thankful that they have some. Location is handy for shops etc. Clean and comfortable. Dog friendly. Breakfast ok. Plenty to eat. Shower was electric and a bit hot/hotter. Overall for us a more interesting, comfortable and convenient place to stay.

Very warm welcome and an excellent Receptionist who was very helpful with taxis, restaurants bookings and milk for the room. Well placed to walk into Exeter and the breakfast was great. Our room was just ok, the curtains did let the light through so had some problems sleeping, and the fire door slamming outside our room wasn't ideal. We thought...

Arriving at Exeter St Davids on a dark winters evening with no accommodation booked not ideal but 10 minutes walk and I stumbled across the Telstar. With the vacancy sign alight it was a no brainer to try and after a pleasant Devon welcome I was booked into my superior single en-suite. A comfortable nights sleep after a long day...

Spent one night at the telstar hotel recently and found it very nice. All the staff were very friendly and helpful breakfast was good with plenty of choice even had a vegetarian option which was good for my wife and I. Parking was a bit tight around the back of the hotel so my advice would be to get there...
