With 5 lakes to fish on, there is plenty of choice and many places to fish, the staff are very helpful and want to make your stay a great experience. With carp up to 33 lbs, roach, tench, you can change your fishing every day. The cabins are clean spacious and warm. Plenty of pubs that are dog frendly, and...

Stayed here for a few days with some friends and partner.. The lodges were in a nice surrounding area with lakes, lovely little views and the wilderness. Nearby is the village of Clovelly (£7.00 entrance fee), Bideford (sea side town )and Barnstaple ( main city centre). The lodges were cosy, and very equipped with everything you need, I highly recommend...

Management response:

Thank you for your review . Sorry the rustic feel was not your taste ,but we would like to point out for future guests arriving in lodge no 2 that the two sofas accent chairs, rugs, pure wool pictures and other smaller items which are all of a high standard are in fact less than a month old.

This was a May visit. Having visited a good range of similar fishing holiday venues found Clovelly Lakeside Lodges refreshingly different. Being situated lakeside and metres from the waters edge was brilliant. What is unique is the amount of water and that it is only available to residents and no matches are held. Makes for a very tranquil break and...

Stayed in lodge 7 and 14 last year, top lake is difficult to fish for carp, but the lower lake is great. If your after silver fish all the lakes fish well. Peter and Caroline are always very helpful, no wifi at the moment but your phone will find 3-4G all over the site. We are booked to go again...
