Even during the height of summer (and a wedding to boot), I was able to secure a room for the weekend at a very reasonable price. The staff are very friendly and will accommodate as best they can any last minute requests. As other reviewers have noted, not all rooms have original or standard bathrooms. Most have an all-in-one unit...

Booked the hotel at short notice....then read the scathing reviews and feared the worst. All I can say is I was pleasantly surprised on 1. How clean my room was 2.How comfortable the bed was 3. The views were absolutely beautiful.4. The breakfast was nice and the location was lovely. 5. Staff were attentive.

Ok, well, um, right....It's different. It's expensive. It's strange. A bit mental (as in 'not right in the head'). Rooms are very basic. Bathrooms are from NASA. The 'Art' is EVERYWHERE! A case of 'Emperor's New Clothes' in most cases! Breakfast was more B&B. However, the staff are very polite, smart and do speak good English. The rooms were clean...

This hotel looks great and the art is well worth a look. The location is stunning and for us its the only place to stay in Tintagel just for this. However, the service for breakfast was unbelievably slow - in fact it was non existent and we simply left without eating after waiting ten minutes. I would recommend having breakfast...

3rd time at this hotel and again a very pleasurable experience despite there being a wedding there and not having access to all areas! We had a 2 course meal in the tea room which was really good. We had a moor view room which was more a sea room view which we were very happy with. You cant fault...

Well this was a quirky one! You will either love it or hate it! Its very much like Marmite! If you go, go with an OPEN mind. And be prepared to enjoy areas of grandeur mixed with the not so grand! The Hotel is reached by driving straight through Tintagel High Street & following the road to its conclusion. The...

We stayed just for 1 night and I wanna say at the first, that the staff at the reception was lovely and helpful. Not the same thing for the breakfast service: slow and very bad. We wait 20 minutes just for a pot of coffee. Well .. now I hope the owners read this review and thinking about.. These are...

Stayed here with two kids and they loved it! Great surroundings and cliff walks! As people have mentioned it the bathrooms yes they are like mini pods puts its a castle and obviously weren't built in as the the rooms were, truthfully I think it helped add to the authenticity of the place and didn't detract from it at all!...

4 of us stayed there about a month ago. The outside is great looking. The view is spectacular but you really don't have to stay there tovsee it. We watched the sunset on the cliff behind the castle. We would never have found that place if we hadn't stayed atcthatcawful castle. All the locals warned us about the place but...

after reading many mixed reviews on here, I decided to email reception reference our choice of room. I explained that I had read bad reviews of horrible rooms with "pod" showers. I therefor asked if it is possible to have a refurbished double room with a sea view. The response was great. Very helpful and promised all that I asked...
