I visited this hotel a few times and sent a few of my guests here to experience the stunning view of the cliffs from the hotel, but when I posted something online about the Mappins' Scientology information in the hotel the owner, John Mappin, tracked me down at home and called my daughter, then emailed me. When I told him...

We popped in for a quick coffee and to experience the views which were STUNNING. Looks a little dated but I guess you will get that with an old school castle :) not sure if we would stay here and quite expensive and is very ART orientated which is not really out scene

This is a very different place... a bit quirky and very very lovely! We stayed in room 305 which was great.. old furniture and a modern bathroom with a large bath and a good shower. The bed is huge and comfortable. The view along the cost from the window is stunning. We ate dinner in the brasserie - Moules and...
