Asked a local where to eat as staying one night in Tintagel, this was recommended! Saw a previous comment about unfriendly staff, surprised at this as we had a lovely friendly smile as we walked in! Good wine at reasonable price. My husband had gammon which was large I had peppered steak. Quite good food but not sure I had...

Stayed here for two nights room neat and tidy and clean staff very friendly and helpful food good location excellent. Breakfast was a bit too late and slow service cooked breakfast started at 9am but took an age to arrive at least 15mins or longer not sure why this was but if you wanted to pay your bill when leaving...

Called fir a drink on way back from a walk, was impressed by owners and service so being attractive by the menu booked for evening meal.It was go the king prawns excellent and the duck good but either just a little over cooked or had not been rested. But have had worse and would still go back.

This bed and breakfast does what it says on the tin, We stayed for two nights and used It for a base to visit local attractions such as Port Isaac, Padstow and of course Tintagel.The area itself is very busy during the day however a ghost town at night.The room was clean and adequate with ensuite, Sky TV and tea...

Arrived just before 2.30 for lunch having booked a room for the night to be told foold orders had closed. Had travelled 3 hours to get there. Later asked for the wifi code whereupon the lady just pointed at a board no conversation. Next day breakfast ordered took 45 minutes although other people got theirs before us checkout just got...

We first went visited the pub in August and had a lunch in the garden. My partner ordered a Cajun chicken baguette. He loved it - so much so we had to go back again in December so he could experience it again. Great lunch , dogs are welcome in the bar too. Would recommend a visit and don't forget...

Stopped off for lunch at this pub whilst visiting the castle. We chose it as it was a lovely day and it had a beer garden with kids play equipment. I really liked the pub and the garden. The pub is a classic old school pub, quite quirky with lots of nooks and crannies. The Beer garden is really nice...

Lovely pub with wonderful accommodation. Clean, comfortable room which has recently been decorated. Would recommend wholeheartedly. Centrally located. Only yards from tintagel castle and attractions, great place to visit.

Just back from 4 nights at the Cornishman. Old Pub in the center of Tintagel. Close to coastal walks (10 mins) and historical sights.We went for the coastal walks so it was ideal.
