A great place to stay. Not exactly near the water but near enough. Great rooms (ours was 'Summers'). The bathroom made us want to come home and rip out ours to replace it with one just like this. Tim and Amelia are great hosts. They run walking tours, know the area very well and give great advice. The breakfast was...

I've just returned from a long stay at Nearwater and cannot recommend it enough. It's definitely the closest to a boutique Hotel experience that I have had in a bed and breakfast, so if you're are willing to pay a little bit more it's well worth it. To be honest, for St Mawes, it's still very good value. I felt...

St Mawes is a beautiful relaxed town. The b&b is perfectly located just a short to the beach and harbour. Great hosts, helpful and friendly. Rooms (we had Percuil and Summers) are bright and clean with nice ensuite bathrooms. Kids were happy with the good wifi and dvd collection. Fresh breakfast! If you're a fuzzy sleeper you might want to...

Stayed for a few days in July. Greeted with a cup of tea and beer. Very proud of their village and B&B. Kept informed if where to go and what to see. Room, bright and decor fab. Breakfast had a different special option each day. White company bedding and towels - great attention to detail. Loved the guest information book...

Spent two nights at Nearwater Bed & Breakfast in July 2014. What a fabulous B&B, room was stylish, clean and spacious. Perfectly located, just a 5 minute stroll to the quiet fishing village of St Mawes. Amelia and Tim were very helpful with their local knowledge and breakfast is fantastic!

Just returned from a four night stay at Nearwater in St Mawes - can't recommend it highly enough. Comfortable, stylish and spotless with an easy charm supplied in bucketloads by hosts Amelia and Tim. The breakfast offering of homemade granola with fresh fruit and a changing daily special (or full english if you want it), was delightful. The bed was...

We originally booked the cabin room (which is stunning) ,but as we were there our helpful hosts Ami and Tim offered us the self catering annex as there is more room. We were delighted we took them up on the offer! We were a little unlucky with the weather so it was good to come back after a long days...

We stayed for one night earlier this month and it was lovely. We were made to feel very welcome and enjoyed a complimentary G&T and cider when we arrived. The room was lovely and light, lovely garden with tables and chairs so we could sit out. Comfortable lounge area with magazines and local info, including a black board with tide...

Stayed 2 nights here and were made to feel very welcome. Loved the stylish bedroom done in New England style and THE most comfortable bed. A feature I wish other places would copy was the very low light that could be put on at night in the bathroom. No more struggling in the dark if you need to pay a...
