I have just returned from a 3 night stay at The Anchorage. There were 3 of us on a painting holiday. The B and B was super. The location is excellent.....just a few minutes walk from the harbour , shopping and restaurants. The Anchorage is clean, beautifully furnished in keeping with its heritage and environment, well decorated, yet maintains a...

A lovely little place run now by Danielle who looked after us very well with brilliant breakfasts and good attention. The house is centrally located really near the harbour, shops and restaurants. Friends and I had 5 nights in January and we were warm and cosy in our clean and comfortable rooms. It will definitely be my first choice if...

Another lovely holiday, staying with Chris at The Anchorage, on Bunkers Hill, St Ives, which is in a very central and convenient location. Chris is a great host - we had Room 3 which is exceptionally comfortable, and Chris always provides superb breakfasts. My husband and I have just returned from a three night stay at The Anchorage. Firstly, we were blessed with the warmest temperatures of the year so far! More importantly, we were very impressed with The Anchorage. It is right in the heart of St Ives so easy for popping in and out to the beach, harbour, shops, restaurants and...

We stayed here for 2 nights and the location, décor and service were first class. It looks small from the outside but the room we stayed in was very spacious. The only down side is the sound from the gulls at 6 in the morning. However, I like this. My wife was none to keen!

The Anchorage is in a perfect location right in the heart of St Ives. I stayed in the winter so crowds were not a problem. The rooms are well appointed and comfortable. The stairs to Room 1 are steep but manageable and worth it for the view. Chris is an excellent host and very helpful with information and local knowledge....

Loved this place, it was everything we hoped it would be and more. Cosy, central to everything in the town, a lovely breakfast and spotlessly clean. And a marvellous host to look after everything. Thank you so much.
