We spent a 4 night break at the Western Hotel. A great location, only ten minutes from station. Nice warm room with a really comfy bed (better than experienced in more expensive hotels). Tea and coffee available in room and a great breakfast every morning... choice from buffet and a delicious full English cooked to order. Lovely polite, helpful staff....

I visited here with my family and can highly recommend this establishment. The rooms are warm, cosy and have wonderful views over St Ives. Our particular room looked towards the harbour which was beautiful day and night with the bay sunkissed in the morning and alight with Christmas lights through the streets in the evening. The hotel is a 5...

After visiting a friend in St Ives we were wanting a Carvery, we were told the Western has a carvery from 6pm so we descided to give it a try. It was a little odd waiting in a hotel reception area for the doors to open, but we went in and got our food pretty much straight away. Lovely choice...

Great location for a night out with friends. Parking was a bit of a nightmare as my partner and I did not have the £12 in coins for the overnight stay and no facility to use debit card or `paper' money. Hotel clean and warm though our room (No.1) was looking very tired and could do with a `facelift'. But...

We booked via booking.com and we were not disappointed. We had room 20 which was probably the smallest of the rooms but for £55 with breakfast we were more than happy. The room looked to be newly decorated with new carpet and lovely shower. The room over looked the outside seating area which I imagine would be noisy in the...

My wife and I stayed at the Western for one night mid December. Check in was smooth and we were quickly shown to our room. Although on the small side it was clean and modern with ( what turned out to be) a powerful shower. There was a decent hospitality tray with tea, coffee, hot chocolate and biscuits provided. The bed...

This Hotel was great, clean with a comfy bed (that's all you need for an overnight stay). Very friendly on arrival and showed to your room. Breakfast was fab with everything you need and the chef was very friendly and welcomed you on arrival. There is no parking with this hotel but staff directed us to the nearest car park....

This was our fourth visit to this wonderful hotel. It's a small hotel but that comes with VERY personal service. Clean rooms, with en-suite. Situated in the center of St Ives, it is a very friendly environment with a wonderful breakfast room...with great vegetarian breakfasts offered! As artists, we like to visit St Ives to soak up the atmosphere and...

What's not to like - spotlessly clean modern room with comfy bed, ensuite bathroom. Breakfast great, staff friendly. Don't understand the negative reviews. Just one improvement to mention - no expel air fan in bathroom so room very warm After showering. Would recommend 😀
