My husband and I have just returned from a weekend break at this hotel. Superb location and stunning views from the breakfast/dinning room. We visited St Ives frequently and always struggle to find somewhere to park, been able to park at the hotel and stroll into the town was a treat. Room was warm and cosy, staff very polite and... Considering we paid a very reasonable price for this hotel I'm no complaining. The hotel was quite tired in terms of decor and fixtures, but it was reasonably clean (apart from the top of the wardrobe!). Also the TV (v small) was loose on its bracket so hard to see it. No room to swing a cat in the bathroom!... More

It disappoints me that you found our hotel ‘quite tired in terms of décor & fixtures’ the hotel is an Edwardian building and so decorated within keeping of its period. We are at the end of our winter decorating/refurbishing program, that has seen fresh painted walls, ceilings, doors etc. throughout the whole hotel and new duvets & pillows in every... More

Everything needed for a short break was there - amenities, parking, friendly staff. Very flexible – allowed parking from an early arrival & late departure (car parking can be difficult in St Ives). Town center is a short stroll away in this very popular resort. Third time we've stayed, top of the list for our next visit. Highly recommended.

Stayed overnight with a friend. Room small and shower room/toilet very tiny but all very clean. Ok for overnight but not for any longer unless you had much larger room. Very comfy bed. Lovely breakfast with very good choice on menu and beautiful view out to sea from restaurant. Staff very friendly.

We stayed for 2 nights in a Deluxe room with sea views at the front of the hotel. The room was large & comfortable, and the views are stunning. Great range of food offered for breakfast, and all the staff were very helpful. Great location, a short walk from the centre of town, but far enough up the hill to... More

This is a reasonably priced , cosy hotel with easy reach of the town centre. We had a nice room (deluxe) with amazing views - all clean and comfortable. The staff were so friendly and helpful and the breakfast was wonderful - we couldn't ask for more. We'll go back.
