Stayed at the St.Merryn Hotel over Easter with family and 31 others as part of a Leisuretime tour. Our rooms on the second floor were very clean and had everything you would expect from such a hotel. The view from room 7 was especially breathtaking and room 9 was good and spacious for a twin room, the bed was very...

Hotel in need of a serious update although it was clean ish. Did have alot of hair in the bath plug area. False nails out on the floor of the balcony area of our room. It needed to be swept or even power washed. Bedding and towels very clean. Found it cold in the room and no lining on curtains...

The St Merryn is good value with excellent food and service run by an obliging couple . The only thing that we did not expect was that the wash hand basin was in the bedroom separate from the bath/shower/toilet. This is within the meaning of en suite but it should be mentioned when booking. We were in rooms 17 &...

I came to St Merryn Hotel as part of a Travelstyle Tour. The room was clean and tidy, the bathroom very clean, bed changed daily, VERY friendly staff, and the owners Blanche and Mike were incredibly hospitable and nothing was too much trouble. The food was excellent, home cooked, and was impossible to grumble at. At just a twenty minute...

Staying on a Leisuretime 3 night break. My friend and I had 2 single rooms (at no extra charge.) Both of the rooms were clean and neat the bed linen and towels spotless. The food is homemade and satisfying and generous portions. The hosts can not do enough to ensure their guests are comfortable. No funny smells or anything else.

The ST Merryn hotel is in a great location ,a short walk into the centre or walk down Wheal Margery opposite hotel which will bring you out onto the beach. All the staff are very friendly and Blanch is a brilliant no nonsense cook. Will certainly come back as I dont want to pay St Ives fishermans cottage prices!!

This room was shabby and dirty .Looked as if it had never been cleaned .There was thick dust everywhere, windows and mirrors were stained and dirty. The carpet in the bathroom was absolutely filthy as were all the pipes..If there is a plus point it would be that the beds and towels were very clean.
