After walking to Port Quin from Port Isaac where we disappointingly found absolutely nothing we noticed a sign directing us to The Longcross. It was another mile or so walk but quicker than walking back to Port Isaac so we risked it and were very glad we did. Fabulous service from the bar staff, beautiful fresh food (we opted for...

This place is great for a drink after visiting port quin. I have to say its looking a little worn down now and is in need of a paint job. Rather over priced, however you pay for the views and it's worth it in my opinion. Food is lovely but it does get very busy!

Perfect break ...hosts could not do enough for us... nothing too much trouble. .. definitely stay again . restaurant was closed during our stay as out of season and work being done but we did receive discount for this and there was lovely farm shop down the road that did excellent breakfasts. we only visited to walk around the gardens (although you have to go into reception of hotel to buy tickets and the hotel did look very nice). The staff on reception were very friendly and gave us an information sheet about the gardens. The gardens were well worth the visit. They are actually in a quite small area but are...

Two night stay in October as part of a walking holiday. Great location for us as on the route. Short and pleasant walk into Port Isaac. Lovely room with bath (not all rooms have bath) and sea view - worth the two flights of stairs. Lovely grounds. Breakfast was superb. Would definitely go back.

I booked this hotel as the ones in the port itself don't have parking (don't even try and drive through) The hotel bedrooms were clean and fresh, although our room was on level 2 we had to duck as the ceilings were an odd shape. It was also a mission trying to get in the shower without banging our head....

I had mixed feelings about the Longcross. The setting is pleasant; some way out of the village. The room we were allocated was very large indeed. It was comfortable with a king bed, two leather sofas and an additional bedroom. The bathroom was also large. My reservations were that the room was never cleaned and the bathroom had an extractor...

We have never written a review before but we have just got back after a week end break at The Longcross and we feel well and truly rested. Great room (1), great gardens, lovely breakfast and most of all great staff who were very helpful as our car would not start on the first morning the staff rallied around to...

Nice view! Food excellent and service. Would recommend to anyone. Scenery beautiful loved the hotel and outside deck. We enjoyed the gardens and it was close to port Isaac which we wanted to see. Scenery to get there was beautiful and roads were very interesting to drive on.
