We had a great stay last weekend whilst working in Port Isaac. Excellent hosts and the locals were very friendly. The food was great in the evening and breakfast was very nice. I will definitely be coming back with my wife for a weekend.

After a visit to the harbour at Port Isaac we checked into this hotel and were helped to our room by a lovely lady behind the bar. The hotel is quirky and has a long history, the bar is what an Australian expected an old English pub to be. Open fire, dogs in the bar and lots of chat and...

We stayed for a night and found it to be clean and convenient to Port Isaac. Ok sure, the decor is old, things are a bit dinky and crooked but guess what? It doesn't affect your nights sleep and who cares if the wall paper in the hall is creased? The locals are friendly and the manager goes above and...

Four of us had a meal here and thoroughly enjoyed the food. Three of us had the Thai options and found the food to be very tasty with fresh ingredients and cooked to perfection. Our daughter had the English option and enjoyed her food. We were made to feel very welcome by all the staff and I think we will...

Stayed here for only 3 nights when the couple running it were on holiday. I have to say that Rob and Lynda who were "looking after" the pub were fantastic. Very friendly, service excellent, great on local information and good food. All the staff were friendly and the locals made you feel as though you were one of them. Highly...

We ate here on Friday evening at the end of our week's holiday after seeing an anonymous tip off on the noticeboard in our cottage about the food being lovely, and we were not disappointed!! Lovely home-cooked meals with very fresh and tasty ingredients, I enjoyed every last bit! We had visited the day before on the way past and...

We stayed at The Cornish Arms whilst on a nostalgic tour of Devon and Cornwall and we were especially looking forward to our stay as this was where we became engaged. When I booked our one night stay I spoke to Felicity and told her of our plans. She was very pleasant on the phone and said she looked forward...

After escaping the crowds at Port Isaac we opted for a drink and lunch at the Cornish Arms - and we're so pleased we did! Felicity and Jon were very welcoming and friendly and we had a delightful and beautifully fresh lunch. Then Felicity went out of her way to help us find accommodation in Padstow where we were heading,...

This place is exactly what you'd expect a quaint cornish inn. On the plus points it has a lovely beer garden, nice old feel to the place and good atmosphere. The young blonde girl working there was a delight and did everything she could to please. The decor had been well thought out but had obviously been done sometime ago...
