The location is ideal. Polperro has restricted vehicle access and you can drive and park at the hotel which makes things a lot easier. A short walk to the fantastic pub The Blue Peter and a lovely meander into the village. The hotel itself was very nice. Very clean, nice decor and where bits were a bit dated, the owners... More

Thank you for your nice comments about our bed and breakfast – it is good when you are writing to “stick the knife in” you do actually mention the important bits. I, obviously, would like to comment about this over-reaction on your part to the two times we met – the first time at breakfast when you sat down, ordered... More

Fabulous hotel in a great location. Hosts Anna & Chris are lovely people and very helpful. The room was beautiful with the most comfortable bed ever. Breakfast was fabulous with a great choice. The bathroom had a shower over the bath. We stayed here years ago and can honestly say this was a wonderful and relaxing stay. Anna arranged flowers... More

What a lovely hotel Penryn House is. Anna and Chris (proprietors), friendly and welcoming, with nothing being too much trouble. Dog friendly a huge bonus for us. Our room was warm, quiet and comfortable (especially the bed)! Spotlessly clean with a lovely selection of complimentary drinks and toiletries. The lounge was very cosy, with the wood burning stove and tea... More

Cleanest place we have stayed in (ever) !!!! Do not be put off by the parking instructions , they are needed but there is loads of room really. The early check in was very welcome and a friendly greeting for us and our dog. The room was well appointed possibly on the small size but had everything we needed. Excellent... More

We stayed for 2 nights with our Golden Retriever and were made very welcome. Just a short walk up the road from the pretty harbour, pubs and restaurants and with parking too! The bed was exceptionally comfortable and the en-suite looked newly fitted, albeit a bit small (but this isn't a criticism - just a clever conversion to offer private... More

Lovely hotel on the Coombes in Polperro. With the bonus of its own off street car park. Short walk to Polperro harbour, and all the local amenities. Great place for a quiet break. Hotel serves a great breakfast.

We had a wonderful stay and will definitely return. A beautiful setting and everything was just perfect, making for a relaxing stay. It was definitely worth the long drive. It is near the coastal walks and the quay and the shops etc.

This guest house is well placed for coastal path walkers being just a short distance from the path itself. On arrival I wasn't able to enter until 4pm which was a little annoying. It was quite expensive to stay there and my room was at the back of the building with absolutely no view at all. There is a lounge... More

Excellent location in this lovely village. There is parking at the Penryn which may seem a given but in Polperro is a bonus. The breakfast is first class and it is spotlessly clean. We will definitely return.

Perfect location. A short walk to the quay and passing all the individual shops and pubs/restaurants. Ideal that there is car parking within the village. The car parking is not the problem it is made out to be in some reviews. Very clean and comfortable accommodation. Pleasant and welcoming hosts. Be aware that some rooms are in the eaves and...
