This hotel was built in 1862 and is still looking tired in some areas. Staff are friendly and helpful and particular thanks Jemma! Food is good and served in good portions. However, this dog friendly hotel should not be allowing dogs in the restaurant areas! Some of the single rooms need updating. This hotel reminded me of hotels I used...

I was flying from Lands End early and needed a place the night before. After looking on Booking.com I found this place. It was one of the few places in Penzance that didn't charge an arm and a leg. The hotel itself is ok, a little dated but ok. My room was a little basic but clean and comfortable. I...

Great old hotel and family run which was nice. Had friendly staff and rooms were clean and tidy, my only complaint would be that my bed was so uncomfortable, time to upgrade the mattresses I think. Breakfast was ok, it all seems quite standard in the U.K., I can't be sure but I think it was powdered scrambled eggs... not...

I stayed here whilst working in the area, great seafront location with parking. My room was clean and comfortable and very reasonably priced. Breakfast was good as was the service. Nice cheap hotel definitely recommend

Pleasant hotel on promenade in Penzance. Rooms clean and very adequate. Building of older style. Breakfast buffet (and also additions of freshly cooked fish etc) very adequate. Reception and most staff very welcoming and helpful.

Let's start with the Victorian or perhaps EdwardIan period when this hotel was built, back then it would have been grand with its wings spreading from the grand entrance and day rooms. The impressive staircase taking you to grand corridors with suites overlooking the bay and if you are lucky the Lizard and St Michaels Mount. The large rooms with...

The Queen's Hotel is fairly well placed. It's slap-bang on the seafront looking out to..., well, nothing, actually. The horizon. The extreme left pointy out bit is The Lizard (well worth a visit), whilst, to the far right is Penlee Point (as in the lifeboat disaster) . Diddlysquat in the middle. A short walk inland is the centre of the...

We stayed here over the Easter weekend as part of a coach holiday. Every single member of staff were helpful, polite and happy. Nothing was too much trouble and any quieries were dealt with immediately. Our room (92) was very well equipped and warm and we also had a lovely view over to St Michaels mount. The only reason I...

Friendly, knowledgeable staff that not only look after your needs but gave an insight into the history of the hotel. Fantastic food, very comfortable family room with amazing views. Highly recommend this hotel.

We visited as a large group for Sunday lunch, having pre-ordered. The food was up to expectations, with local produce all of the best quality. The service was excellent from local personnel who were attentive and friendly. The big problem is that of parking, with only limited space available for hotel or restaurant guests. However, this comes as a recommended...
