Stayed for 2 nights, lovely place bit old for us. Nice hospitality , clean, bathroom spacious and well presented. Excellent views. Nice short break. Great situation for exploring. Polite helpful staff. Bedroom a good size.

This looked promising but for the money we were rather disappointed. Our room was fine but nothing special although the nespresso coffee machine was a welcome surprise. Decent coffee in a hotel room is a must for me, so points scored there. We had a view out to sea which was pleasant. The wet room worked well but the rail...

My partner and I stayed here for two nights back in March. We absolutely loved our stay and would like to come back soon! The decor is very tasteful and the food in the restaurant of an exceptional quality. We enjoyed the free tea and cake one afternoon too, which was a very nice touch!

Stayed four nights in August. Ideal for walking the SW coastal path. Had a single room with spacious bathroom. Loved the terrace overlooking the pool for an evening drink before dinner. Also handy for St Michael's Mount which is just a bus ride away for those not walking! The open top bus is quite an experience too.

Warm, friendly and very welcoming, open fire in the lounge area with big comfy sofas. Room was small but clean, well equipped and comfortable. Had a dinner in the restaurant which was lovely and excellent service. They had a cocktail hour which was excellent. I would stay here again but would like a bigger room.

Dear Guests, it was a pleasure to welcome you and thank you for your five star review. The open fire is particularly welcoming this evening as it is 'blowing a hooley' here in Penzance making it perfect for cocktail hour.

My wife and I had booked a weekend break via Groupon, we had booked a superior room which to be honest the views were amazing looking out to st Michael's mount however I would hardly class the room as superior as there were stains on the carpet, rust on the window catches, and mould on the tiles in the bathroom,...

Thank you for your review. I have investigated to find out which room you booked so I can make sure it reaches our high standards as a four star town house. The one you describe in your review certainly falls well below par. Following on from inspecting the room you stayed in I could not find all the faults you...

Very nice hotel. Spacious room, very spacious bathroom. Very nice restaurant with great views. There was no elevator and I have arthritis in one knee, so going up and down the stairs was a little awkward. Staff was friendly, but not knowledgeable of the area.

I had a top floor room with a nice view of the bay, St Michael's mount in the distance. The room was clean and comfortable. The stairs are a bit cumbersome with a handful of luggage and signage for things like the bar and reception are lacking. I feel the staff I met were helpful but on the inexperienced side....

Very nice little hotel close to central city, rail and ferry connections. Excellent restaurant with inside and outside seating great views of the city and bay. Go for a lower floor since 3rd floor is a challenge with bags.

We arrived at 13:30 (1:30 pm) which was too early to check in, but they took care of our luggage and promised to put it in our room as we used to time to walk to Saint Michael's Mount. We got back to the hotel around 18:00 (6:00 pm) or so, and finished up the check in procedure and the...
