A pleasant sea front hotel on the outskirts of Penzance Bay. It is a 20 minute walk but there is a bus which stops around the corner having gone through the town! My single room was adequate but as is the lot of the solo traveller at the back of the hotel and a long way from reception. I was...

Stayed here for one night on business, friendly staff on check in. Lovely room facing the sea, well appointed and clean. Comfortable bed with good size pillows. Ate in the hotel restaurant, food was of a very good standard, cooked fresh and very well presented. Reasonably priced and plenty of cheese on the cheeseboard. Would recommend this hotel, will stay...

This hotel exceeded our expectations. The room was lovely, the sheets were scented and we have a seaview. The staff were very helpful and polite. It was very sad to leave it behind to go home. We would return in a hearbeat and would recommend it to anyone who enjoys the sea. The breakfast in the morning was delicious and...

What a lovely hotel - right in the heart of town with views of the water and an easy walk to shops and restaurants. We arrived after a long travel day - an overnight flight from the US and 5+ hours on the train from London. When we made the reservation, they only had a room with 1 bed, and...

I stayed at the Beachfield Hotel for 3 nights and loved it. The room was very modern, had a comfortable bed, and a large bay window with a sea view looking onto the promenade and friendly helpful staff. It is ideally situated, near bus stop to Land's End, close to the city center. Thai restaurant next door is amazing.

We had to book at the last minute due to bad weather affecting flights to the Scillies, and the manager was very accommodating, giving us a nice quiet room with a seaview. The room was very comfortable and we slept as well as con be expected. The disappointment for us was the breakfast, which was only a buffet because we...

We stayed here on our way to the Scilly isles. It's location is perfect for the ferry and rooms were very clean with all facilities, wifi, coffee making, clean fluffy towels - nothing was too much trouble. The food was amazing - dinner & breakfast.

We stayed at Beachfield for two nights en route to Scilly. It has a lovely location , and sea views are excellent. We were pleasantly surprised by the standard of food, both at breakfast- delicious Eggs Florentine was my favourite- and dinner. The menu was focused, beautifully cooked, and well-balanced. Nothing was too much trouble for the staff. We walked...

Located on the sea front in Penzance, Cornwall, the Beachfield Hotel offers breathtaking panoramic views of Mount's Bay, from The Lizard to Newlyn Harbour with St Michael's Mount glitteringly prominent at centre stage. A Victorian building dating from the 1860s and standing on grounds that were once fields and dunes where fishermen dried their nets, our hotel has long been a favourite for those who know Penzance well. Much of the interior has recently been modernised and refurbished to a high standard. ... more   less
