While cruising through Penzance looking for likely accommodation for a couple of nights we looked at a few likely contenders and then stumbled on Lombard House. I'm glad we didn't choose any of the others as this place was brilliant, very handily situated and had great views over the ocean. Tom and his family served up a fabulous breakfast, plenty...

We stayed 4 nights here and found it comfortable and conveniently placed for Penzance town centre. The row of attractive Regency period houses in the Crescent are a mixture of guest houses/ b&bs and private residences. Parking is opposite the property. It is also convenient for local restaurants and when using public transport. It is a 15/20 minute walk to...

I stayed at the Lombard for six nights very recently. I travelled alone, so was in a small single room at the back. Whilst this had no views to speak of the standard of the room more than compensated, and was nicely decorated and furnished. Although unused to single beds this one was comfortable and the en suite bathroom was...

Lombard House is perfectly located, a few steps from the town center and from the sea. The house is very clean and we had a very large room with sea view (room number 8) even if it was close to the entrance door so we could hear the people going and coming, but for us was not a problem (the...

Lombard House is situated on the adjacent to the quay with other similar B&B nearby. It was a good choice for our family of 7. We were able to book just 2 generous sized rooms which saved considerably. Rooms were well decorated. Breakfasts excellent. There is free parking as well. Tom was extremely helpful giving us excellent advise on sights...
