We arrived on Monday just after 5pm and we were greeted by the landlord Richard who was really friendly and welcoming. We ate there that night and I had the squid which was on the specials and it was amazing!! The best I've ever tasted! My partner had the sizzling steak which was also Devine! We had room 2 which...

We ate here every night for a week whilst staying in Penzance, and couldn't fault either the food or the service. Would thoroughly recommend this place to anyone. Will definitely be returning whenever we are in the area.

Had a very nice room, but right next to the road so pretty noisy at times. All of the staff very friendly and accommodating. Had a few drinks in the bar after an evening out and found the cocktails blew our socks off, try them if you dare! Breakfast was good with plenty of choice offered. Would stay again.

We had gorgeous fish and chips at The Dolphin whilst on our way back to Carbis Bay from Lands End. The batter was tasty and crispy and the chips were cooked to perfection. My only criticism is that it would've been nice to have a choice between mushy peas and normal peas. Very relaxed and friendly atmosphere. Will definitely recommend...

Didn't stay there only had a meal there, meal was lovely fresh and well presented. Clean!!! We sat outside because it was very hot day unfortunately this is adjacent to the main road and not fenced off so could be tricky with kids..well worth going for good!

Went for lunch today and whilst food was quick and average quality it could easily be improved. I'm no chef but I can cook better fries than I had with my catch of the day. Why spoil a good plate with run of the mill frozen chips. Get some proper pub chips and I'd up my score! Friendly welcome but...

I was looking for a pub with decent food and without the "local" attitude when I stayed 1 night in Penzance for work. This pub met my expectations, great location, very friendly/welcoming staff who are good at their jobs but also looked as if they were enjoying themselves (a hard balance to find) Food was as you would expect from...

The Dolphin is a quirky, friendly pub and an excellent B&B. Really friendly, chatty staff. Clean, modern bedroom with a comfy bed and the most amazing shower. I mean, the best shower you're ever gonna have in your whole life. The food they serve is really tastey with good portions and good selection of larger and cider. Me and my...

I ate there twice. First time with family for a lunch. It was not very busy, nice food, hppd service. Second tome O was on my own in the evening and it was quite busy but I had a drink in the bar and maybe after 10 minutes my table was ready. Just everything I need on holiday. Fresh, delicious,...
