I stayed here during my 2007 UK trip. The first thing I noticed was the friendly staff, then when I dropped off my stuff in my room I noticed how clean it was. It was very basic, but roomy and it had a built in entertainment unit. Very much suited to the younger crowd who plan on partying for the...

I read some reviews before we stayed at the Reef and was slightly scared to stay there especially when the ages of my party ranged from 23 to 65 (18 of us in total). However i was pleasently surprised. There are two lodges one on Berry road and one on Island Crescent, we stayed at Island Cresent. The rooms were...

I stayed at The Reef Surf Lodge last weekend as part of a stag party. Although it may be small, it is ideally located, plenty of parking on the road, friendly staff, and quite affordable. The rooms are basic, but for a weekend of surfing and drinking - you don't need much else (although a wardrobe/coat hooks would have helped)....

Saw an ad in Carve surf mag for out of season deals with the Reef surf school and Reef surf lodge. £209 for 4 people staying for 4 nights with 2 people having 3 morning surf lessons was a very good price. Booked up for 4 of us to go and then took a look at Tripadvisor to see what...

We had booked an en-suite room for 4 nights including the NYE. The staff (well, only one girl was there) was helpful, although nothing above general expectation. The place look-wise seemed funky, but..! The staircase is just way too narrow and steep. And I'm not fat nor old. :D The doors for the rooms are awfully restraind by the door-closer....

Most amazing week of my life! I got back last weekend and honestly had the best week ever. I'm 17 and went with my 3 best 17 year old friends. It's not the most amazing accomodation in the world, but you get what you pay for, if you are young and just want to go to Newquay for a good...
