Firstly,i want to add why i rated this excellent. We were in Newquay for a stag,27 of us.One of us booked the accommodation due to the 24/7 bar.Nice one :) After he booked we checked out the reviews - to our dismay the reviews weren't the best to put it short. So in all honestly hoped for the best. The talk...

We found it perfect for a base. The room was clean and comfortable bed. No T.V in the room, but when you are out in the sunny weather it not a problem. The place is brilliant for budget and surfers. The owners where friendly. Well recommended.

Very basic, dodgy leaky showers, no soap or towels and noisy. It is absolutely great for a short stop off whilst busy but if you are spending more than a couple of days look for comfort elsewhere. Staff were friendly and we had a basic room to rest our heads. However it was quite run down. Great value, 24 hour...

I have never left a review on anything before, but feel like i have to, after my stay at Surfers Hotel. Firstly the rooms, they ARE fine, reasonably clean and fit for purpose. For £280 for 4 nights in peak season its what you expect. I'm not fussy. But that was not the problem with this place. The issue i...

Stayed here for a couple of nights with friends: Positive things: Very cheap! Good common area Negative things: Staff range from the quite helpful to the incredibly rude and unhelpful, think that comes up in other reviews Not sure it's really clean, for instance no hot water coming out of bathroom taps Things to note: It's at the wrong end...

On arrival to the Surfers Hotel we were greeted with a warm smile and easy check in. Little did I realise at this point, that this family-run hostel was going to remind me of my boarding school days... what a lovely reminiscing feeling! The car park was small and I was asked to leave my keys at reception in case...

Would've had a lot more to say about the hotel had the young man on the reception refused to phone the police after I was assaulted outside. Wouldn't stay again purely for that matter. Cheap enough I guess but after being treated the way I would be highly unlikely to stay again.

The hotel is pretty cheap comparing to the last minute booking. Most of the guests are men while we are women. The hotel was so noisy. We heard other rooms knocking the doors all night. The bed was not clean. We all felt itchy in the morning. The hot water in the shower was horrible. It was too hot to...
