Stayed. Last week, room was large, but very dated and needs some repairs. Entertainment some good some ad, some mimed to tape music. Staff very nice and helpful. Good location easy walk to town centre. Dining room carpet was horrendous stained and dirty. Very noisy at night . would stay again, hoping it has been decorated by then

The downstairs is quite pleasant and roomy, the restaurant served up very good food. Corridors creaked and our room was very small and the shower room was tiny and both were very dingy. A true let down to the rest of the hotel. Staff were friendly and helpful.

Really good welcome. All staff friendly. Food good. Excellent choice for breakfast. Buffet style. Set evening meal with a lovely choice of sweet. Clean hotel. Small indoor pool and gym. Bedroom was very small. Bathroom very compact and in dire need of refurbishment. Shower was a challenge. It was either cold or boiling. No shower curtain. Hotel is a good...

It was the first time we had visited this hotel after travelling with an organised trip with Diamond Holidays. As with all coach holidays we do not expect a 4 or 5 star hotel but we do expect reasonable bedrooms and courtesy from some of the staff. We stayed at this hotel for 3 nights on 10th July. On arrival...

Rooms are basic but clean and staff are lovey. Good facilities for a budget hotel. Breakfast buffet has been a life saver after some alcohol fuelled nights. Small swimming pool sauna and jacuzzi and gym if your feeling energetic. Small say 5 minute walk into the town.

the hotel is very basic, but it's very clean. Staff are very nice, food is very good, we had a choice of 3 starters, mains and a huge table of desserts to choose from. Large buffet breakfast provided too. The hotel would benefit from air con, but obviously that would be expensive for the amount of time it would be...

Sandy lodge hotel is well worth a visit ... large rooms. clean sheets .hot water.Great wholesome food.and puddings to die for with lashings of cream. If it wasn't for the disgusting dreadful service from DIAMOND HOLIDAYS... We would have enjoyed our short break. It is not fair to SANDY LODGE HOTEL...because we would never book with DIAMOND HOLIDAYS which means...

I have just stayed at sandy lodge hotel for 4 days. The journey down was horrendous because of the train strike. It was getting late when I rang to let them know we would be too late for dinner the receptionist said she would arrange for something for us to eat when we arrived we had a lovely ham salad...

We here on a 4 night coach trip .we have no problems .room clean and tidy. Food plentiful and hot. Staff all very pleasant. Would have liked a shower instead of bath though. Some people not so lucky they say rooms needed updating.
