Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

An excellent choice for a winter short break in a busy town , very near shops and beaches . Parking available in an area where it`s often difficult . However the best part was the very hospitable hosts with good local knowledge of area . Full English breakfast set us up for the day . Rooms spotless . Definitely recommend .

This is hospitality in the best sense. The breakfast is to be believed. "The Full English" is very full with nothing left to chance. Fresh cooked and not swimming in grease. For many guests lunch would not be a necessity! Rooms are spotless. A small criticism is that the hot water took a long time to reach the rooms at the top. The owners are very helpful if you have any requests. Despite being close to the ugly, scruffy and lacklustre town centre they have guest house to proud of. Some limited parking is a bonus. Super value for money.

We booked a room at Invernook for our first ever visit to Newquay, and when we come back we won't hesitate to stay here again. The hosts couldn't be more helpful, thoughtful, and kind. They offered us great advice for local hiking trips, and bailed us out with the things we forgot to bring with us. Our room was large, very bright and clean, with a bay window at the front of the house but still very quiet! The (vegetarian, as requested) breakfast was delicious and served with a welcoming smile every morning. Finally, the location is just perfect, very close to the beach, to nice bars, and restaurants. Simply couldn't have asked for more. Book it, you won't regret it!

I've been at this excellent bed and breakfast for the past two weeks, hosts Ros and Keith are ever so friendly and provide outstanding service. Keith cooks a tasty and plentiful breakfast whilst Ros deals face to face taking the breakfast orders. This spotlessly clean propery is also ideally situated in central Newquay. Early booking is definitely recommended due to its unsurprisingly popularity. Very highly recommended. .

Such an easy place to stay. The room provided everything we needed & the hosts were really lovely people. Very accommodating, nothing was too much trouble. Really made us feel at ease. Didn’t hear any of the other guest in the 5 days we were there . Would love to go back. Parking on sight an added bonus

Once again our stay at the invernook was faultless. We just love coming back to this gem of a place. You have the best hosts in Keith and Ros,from getting out of the car they are there for you. They both go above and beyond. Rooms are very clean n bright. Fresh towels every other day,Tea coffee kettle, fridge hairdryer all in your room. Iron n ironing board on the landing for you to use. Also TV in rooms. Now for breakfast, well let me tell you they are to die for. Keith’s poached eggs are eggcellent pardon the pun. Keith n Ros will cater for your every need, whether your vegan vegetarian or gluten free they will do what ever you need. Don’t believe me please give them a try and see for yourselfs.

Just spent a few nights here as a base for coastal path walks. Actually it was my second stay, the first was 4 years ago. The central location is great for bus and train connections and practically a stone's throw from the spectacular coast. There were no noisy clubs near enough to bother me. The seagulls get up early, which can't be helped, that's Newquay, and I soon slept through those! It's a traditional, old-fashioned B&B but none the worse for that. My room was clean and comfortable, not at all musty despite the damp Cornish climate. The breakfasts were great, and the owners are very friendly and helpful. Can't fault it for the price, in fact I felt more at home than I would have done in a posh expensive place!

We had a really lovely stay with Roz and Keith. They are both very welcoming and couldn't do enough for their guests. We stayed in room 7 which was bright and very clean. The room isn't huge but perfectly adequate for for us. We had our own shower and toilet and in the corner of the room was the basin. There were 2 mirrors which some b&bs seem to forget. We had tea and coffee and a small fridge which was a great addition. Breakfast was brilliant, we had poached eggs every day which were always perfectly cooked. There was a large choice from various cereals, yogurt, toast, full English etc etc. We highly recommend this lovely b&b. Thank you Roz and Keith.
