We took a taxi from our hotel all these way because of the reviews. I doubt how many of the reviews are actually true now. View is amazing. However, stater got two flies inside the cured meat, not only one but two:( Since we returned our starter, I cannot tell how long we had to wait for our mains, 4...

Best place in the whole world and we have stayed in some rock and roll places, zammo would have loved this place. Would have preferred a cornish cream tea but we couldn't find any tea or for that matter any bags and as for the cream well that's another story but a wholesome weekend was enjoyed by all.

I have never stayed here but I was driving around Newquay and saw this hotel,it looks nothing like the photo anymore,it was abandoned I think because it was boarded up and had no windows or anything it only had a sign saying lusty glaze lodge! Don't book this hotel whatever you do. It's definitely had better days!

There was no one on reception, when the person arrived we were asked for a Credit Card to pay at that point I wished we moved on somewhere else. We found the room after an epic trip through the hotel,...

First things first, I paid £45 for 3 nights stay here, which was considerably cheaper than a beach-hut. If I'd paid more I would have been upset as it's derelict, very dirty and noisy - like many places in Newquay. But for the money...
