The restaurant is in a great location with wonderful sea views. Everything I've eaten there has been great but the monkfish deserves a special mention. The seating area by the windows could do to be made less draughty and one or two staff members could be warmer too, but overall, great.

Always reliably good we stopped for an early lunch after visiting St Just. Grabbing a sofa by the windows we sat with a glass of vino verde and NZ Sauvignon, contemplating the increasing wind strength and waves before choosing from the menu. Leek and potato soup and gnocchi with sweet potatoes-possibly the nicest meal we've had out in a while-and... More

A really great hotel for a winter escape. Stayed in room 1 overlooking St Clements Island, the perfect room to see the sunrise. Room spacious and nicely decorated, no television in room just a radio which was nice. Good size bathroom with thick fluffy towels. Service of a good standard, very welcoming and efficient. Food delicious, cater for all tastes,... More

We arrived early, so we were given a complimentary coffee. We had a walk around Mousehole, which is a lovely village, and played Scrabble when we got back whilst we looked out at the beautiful view to the rear. Though there was a slight mishap with the room, this was sorted very quickly. Room 11 has a gorgeous view of... More

We enjoyed a 3 night break with excellent breakfasts and dinners throughout. Very good value. Its the antithesis of the corporate hotel and all the better for that. Old but interesting books are everywhere, and bedrooms are small but comfortable. Its wonderful to arrive and full of happy memories when we leave.

The people were very friendly and the views were spectacular. The WYFI was poor and the parking like most things in Mousehole was tight. Food and accommodations were excellent! A great location for day trips. bes2

Friendly comfortable hotel. We stayed in the Lookout, room 12 and then in room 7. Both had fabulous sea views and outside areas to sit however room 7 had a much more modern bathroom, so would recommend the newer refurbished bathrooms. Really confortable beds and rooms. Food (breakfast and dinner) was great, all locally sourced and large portions! Great additional... More

What a fab location with beautiful views in a lovely village. The restaurant is casual dining with a smart twist on food presentation. We had Sunday lunch which was very good but was served unfortunately with a side order of curt and unfriendly waitresses !!
