This is our 3rd stay at this warm cosy bed and breakfast, Clare and Allan are so helpful, and breakfast is something different! If you like walking and gardens they are in easy reach, with Falmouth not very far away there is plenty to see and do. We would thoughly recommend this wonderful place, we hope to be back!

We stayed for three nights at this lovely guesthouse and would recommend it thoroughly. Clare and Allan made us feel very welcome and breakfasts were excellent. Our room was lovely with very comfortable bed, and beautifully furnished with attention to detail. It's within walking distance of the village where there is a good pub and also a Spanish restaurant.

I used to live in this village, and on a trip to catch up with friends in the area I stayed here. Clare & Allan are brilliant and friendly hosts, the rooms are well appointed and spotlessly clean, ironed sheets a true bonus! Goldmartin is situated on a quiet road within walking distance of the Red Lion pub - useful...

Stayed one night while walking the SWCP, and it was terrific. Very prompt and courteous pick-up from Helford Passage with offer to transport us back to the path the next morning. Extremely friendly hosts who are very knowledgeable about the area. The home has an incredibly beautiful garden and is loaded with what we Americans call Depression glass. Great breakfast...

Clare and Allan made us very welcome. Their home had a warmth and uniqueness with Clare's art displayed on the walls. It was a tourists delight to have the opportunity to buy cards from her collection. The garden was pleasant to look out on as we enjoyed breakfast from the conservatory. The bed was comfortable and the suburban street quiet....

Welcome was warm and friendly when my wife and I arrived from our days walk along the SWCP B and B offers a collection and return service to the ferry once you have crossed the Helford. Breakfast was great with some unique and welcome breakfast options which you will not get anywhere else Great place - give it a try

We found this accomadation as a result of recommendation of locals. And what a lovely place........ A little gem in the rural area of Falmouth. The property is tastefully decorated with country furnishings and the hosts artistic works. It has a lovely garden overlooked by the roomy breakfast conservatory. The food is EXCEPTIONAL and choices are varied and not the...

Coming from Porthallow and ferrying across first Gillan Creek and then the Helford River your end up in Helford, but there is nowhere to stay there so you continue on the path and go through Glendurgan gardens then up the road a mile or so to Mawnan Smith where the Goldmartin is (not Falmouth as the Tripadvisor locater tells you)....

This is THE place to stay when walking the South West Coastal Path. Don't worry that Mawnan Smith is a bit off the path ... Allan will pick you up at the Ferryboat Inn at Helford Passage after your ferryboat ride across the river. And then he (or Claire, his wife) will take you to (mostly) anywhere you want the...
