The room was clean and the bed was comfortable, although we had noisy neighbours one night. We had a view of the beach and sea from our bedroom window and the beach was close enough for an early morning dip. Breakfast was very good. The harbour is a short walk, albeit not on the flat. Hosts were very friendly and...

We drove 350 miles through the night to avoid the Bank Holiday traffic and arrived at The Westcott at 6 am in the morning. After scaring the owner, who thought we were dead when she spied us fast asleep on her drive at such an early hour, we were invited in for a cup of tea - this was really...

My mother and I were on a Rabbie's Trailblazer tour of Devon and Cornwall, and they booked us into this charming guest house/ B and B for two nights, and we were both blown away by the house itself and the warm welcome we received from Ellen and Kate. The room was a small attic room--but never fear: it was...

Falmouth is situated in quite a hilly area and the situation of this fantastic guest house is no exception, so this would be my only warning. If you stay here and want to walk about, you need to be able to walk up and down a quite a bit! The beach is only a couple of minutes walk down the...

Hello there Jim Thank you for your fantastic review, I guess you could say we are a half full half empty B & B because although, you do have to walk up a hill from the beach, think of the fun walking down the hill to get there. We are only half way up the hill, therefore, we are halfway...

The Westcott is a gem of a find. Family run , most welcoming. Lovely rooms and breakfasts. Perfect location for the town and beach. We enjoyed our 4 night stay. The area is ideal for touring this area of Cornwall. Car parking , and I am fussy , was not an issue.
