The Falmouth Hotel looks impressive externally, a lovely large symmetrical facade facing the sea set behind a large lawned frontage on Cliff Road. An iconic hotel. All who know and love Falmouth revere this place. Internally the Falmouth Hotel is every bit as impressive as the exterior. Lovely high ceilings, ornate plasterworks and architraving. A memory of a bygone age....

Called in for a cup of tea on a beautiful sunny afternoon. Sat on the terrace and was served an excellent pot of tea and biscuits by a very pleasant South African young lady. A lovely place to while away half an hour or more watching the sea. The grounds of the hotel are very well kept. We used the...

Sadly the lift was out of order so anyone with a mobilty problem had difficulties. Thankfully they were able to move us to the 1st floor if not wouldn't have been able to stay. The staff were very helpful and did deal with the problems we had very efficiently. Also the staff were very kind & understanding. The bed was...

Great location but threadbare carpets in downstairs areas and peeling paint. Customer service was variable, bar staff were overwhelmed by four customers at the bar in early evening - lots faffing about!

Very good location but bar food a little bland with no variations from one evening to another but nice restaurants down the town and can recommend The Pavilions. 10 mins walk. Which has a bar and a Theatre.

We stayed here for two nights in May 17, very pleasant welcome at reception, organised and efficient. The room with sea view was on the third floor was a little compact, but everything was there, coffee, tea, biscuits, hair dryer, shower over a bath, and plenty of storage for clothing. The only omission that I noticed was that the bathroom...

This was our second stay at Falmouth 's grand old Dame of a hotel. What the hotel lacks in material smartness it makes up for with its friendly personal service, where the staff are prepared to go a that extra bit further to make your stay special. The rooms are comfortable and clean with high ceilings and although they lack...

My friends and I went to the Falmouth Hotel for two nights to celebrate my upcoming 50th birthday. Myself & my sister (who I was sharing with) had a free upgrade to a larger room, which was a great surprise. The breakfast was fantastic, the staff very helpful, we had a meal in the restaurant on our last night which...

The location is stunning, you can relax and sit with a coffee (or nice glass of wine) and look out to the beautiful Sea. The service can be quite slow when ordering food in the restaurant but the food is tasty and the staff are usually very friendly. The experience alone of being in this lovely hotel was just enough...

Upon arrival at the hotel greeted by friendly, helpful reception team and advised on the hotel facilities. The room was nice , good sea views and the...
