Stayed a couple of nights over the Bank Holiday weekend. Ideally located for walking into town/marina (10-15mins), and beach (3mins). Friendly welcome, excellent choices for breakfast, and clean room. Ample off-road car parking. Would certainly stay here again. Only drawback was lack of WiFi signal in our bedroom

We chose Gyllyngvase Guest House due to it's proximity to the beach (5 minutes walk) and the town centre (15 minutes). On arrival we were greeted in a friendly manner and the checkin process took a matter of minutes. Our room was classed as a premium room, and therefore en-suite. Please keep this in mind if booking as not all...

This hotel is situated on a fairly busy road but close to the beach. The room my father had, required a light on at all times, as there were large trees shading the room. This was not a friendly hotel, with the owner very rarely seen. There was a help yourself honesty bar which I have never experienced before. We...

A reasonably priced hotel with good food and clean rooms. Wine is available by the glass. A good base to explore the area. We paid a bit extra for a sea view and certainly got one - we enjoyed seeing the many yachts, merchant vessels and Navy ships passing by Falmouth. Plenty of parking at the hotel. The centre of...

Got there really tired after a long and sweaty cycling tour. The boss was both welcoming from the start and charming. Rooms have been newly refurbished, breakfast was great value too. I will definitely come again when in Cornwall. Here's a clear thumbs-up!

Really nice B&B, single room was clean and basic decorated, minus - toilet and shower separetly to shere with other guest. Very good breakfast with choices of different menu a'la carte. Favourite - half grapefruit with blueberry. Close to the centre of town, and just couple of minutes from beach. Recommended for stay.

I'm not a lover of B&B's but this little place has converted me. Lovely family running the place and couldn't do anymore to meet yours needs. Plenty of car park space, quiet enough considering its close location to the town and beach, large communal area and great breakfast! Turn left to go into town and turn right to go straight...

Booked this B&B for one night to see Fleetwood Mac tribute band at the Princess Pavilion which is just 75yds away. Met by a very pleasant owner who booked us in promptly. We were given the key to room 8 and a pass code for the front door. The room was excellent and lovely and warm given it was freezing...

Just got back from our little jaunt in Falmouth and have to say the Gyllyngvase Guest house was a major disappointment. Check in at 4 and out by 10 the following morning? Not much scope for a lie in as brekky was between 8-9.30, which was adequate, I guess. 1 egg, 1 rasher of bacon, 1 sausage, 1 portion of...

Just returned from a weeks stay at this hotel. We had 4 rooms,as we where working locally. We were told that breakfast would not be served until 8'oclock , and we had to start at 7-730. No offer of a early breakfast for 4 paying customers. Our towels were not changed for 4 days, the bins in the rooms were...
