This hotel is not on the seafront with distant views of the estuary but it does have a lovely atmosphere and the owners and staff made me feel really welcome from the initial telephone conversation, through arrival, to final departure. The rooms are clean and all that I needed was provided. The other guests all seemed to happy and contented....

We had a good size room at the front of the hotel, rather noisy at night. Room was clean but looked grubby and tired - as did the hotel in general. Good breakfast. Parking difficult, we ended up parking on the road as we needed to use the car early in the morning. Wi-Fi very slow but free

Nice friendly welcome and a large room with a bath and shower. The room was clean and though some fittings aren't perfect overall it was comfortable and pleasant. Location is quite close to town but up a hill and the parking is tight but there was space on a quiet street outside. Breakfast was fine with a good selection of...

Considering it was in peak season and the cheapest decent room and location I could find.....BRILLIANT setup with lovely people and spotless/immaculate room. I don't generally go reviewing or analysing every place I stay but in this case credit where it's definitely due👍🏻✅

A great location, within walking distance of the town centre and stations, right opposite a small park. Very pleasant, well appointed room, with free wifi. Comfy bed (for me at any rate). Tasty breakfast. Good value. You cannot ask for more.

This hotel is very good value for money for a short stay. The room was fit for purpose, although the bed was not the most comfortable I have ever slept in, it had a lovely view over the park and it is ideally situated for access to the town and beaches. Yes its décor is rather dated but if you...

Nice hotel. However I felt the price difference in rooms a little much. My colleague had the 'smaller room' for £9 less. His room had a single bed but overall was bigger, had a bath and was warm. Mine was a double but much smaller throughout and quite chilly. Very clean, very nice tea making things. We were shown where...

Stayed here for a week and I can't fault anything. The landlady was incredibly helpful from the moment I arrived to the day of departure. My room although a little dated was completely fit for purpose and from looking at the rest of the hotel they are clearly going through a regeneration process. Food was excellent. All In all a...

Very friendly welcome. Enjoyed a nice chat with the owner. Everyone works hard to do their best and to make the stay trouble free. Lovely breakfast room and smiley service. Cotton sheets were great and bed was too comfortable. A bit of redecor would help but it helps give it charm!
