San Remo is less than a minute walk to Gyllynvase beach and a ten minute walk to Falmouth town centre. It is very comfortable, clean and tidy with a friendly relaxed atmosphere. The breakfast is excellent, there is a cooked or continental option, the local sausages are a must! The location means you can make good use of the beach...

San Remo is located a few minutes away from Gyllyngvase beach and I had a wonderful sea view from my room. The room was spotless and the bed was comfortable so I slept really well. The town with some unique shops and easy access to the ferries were also only a short walk away. Jenny and Steve were very warm,...

Thank you for your positive comments. The majority of our rooms have a sea view so you can be assured you will have another good view from your room next time. We endeavour to source out ingredients locally to provide a hearty breakfast and we are very adaptable to individual dietary requirements. I am sure you will find plenty to...

We stayed in the San Remo for two nights before our Wedding, with other guests and our 3 children. We had the family room with our youngest (situated on the ground floor, away from other guest rooms), this room easily accommodated a cot, which the B&B provided, (but you do have to provide your own cot bedding) and our two...

Thank you for your very informative and positive review. We really enjoyed your stay, with such delightful children. We hope you will come and stay again with more time to make use of our sun terrace and beach just down the road.

Great hosts, Jenny and Steve are running a lovely business in a fantastic location. They know what people want and deliver to perfection. Thanks for the short stay we had with you, really hope to make it longer if Uni works out, probably even if it doesn't. And Jenny, that bathroom floor is the room maker, you can't buy that...

Thank you for taking the time to review San Remo Guest House. The building is over 100 years old and those floor tiles are a few of the remaining features we continue to preserve. We are so glad you enjoyed your stay and the location so close to the beach and the Falmouth Uni campus. We hope to see you...

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay in Falmouth at the San Remo Guest House. Steve and Jenny were fantastic hosts, providing a welcome with tea and cakes on our first day and good advice on restaurants and local sights and amenities. One of the things that impressed us was that Jenny could remember everyone's name when they came down for breakfast...

Just returned from a fourth stay having started with four nights and built up to this years 14 night stay. Location, welcome, care etc. remain as good as ever. What more is there to say then except that I booked for next year before I left!

San Remo was the second stay of a twelve day driving holiday around Devon And Cornwall with friends... A very nice Bed And Breakfast with lovely friendly hosts.. Very close to the Gyllingvase beach. The rooms were very clean and comfortable with a nicely stocked hospitality tray, you just need to ask the owners for fresh milk if required and...

Clean and presentable enough, beds comfortable, breakfast ok although when we asked for eggs with hard yolk the answer was 'How do you do that'. Its a good 15/20 minute walk to the town centre starting with a very steep hill. You must also remember to only arrive in the time slots they give when booking. Very clean and has...

Thank you for your review. We endeavour to meet any special requests for breakfast, when asked to to harden a yolk we double checked that the egg had been cooked to the request. Unlike a lot of guest houses we have two check in times, between 12 and 1 and between 4 and 7pm. However, where guests let us know...

Official Description (provided by the hotel)
The San Remo has a combination of singles, twin, double and family rooms which are all en-suite and many have sea views. The car park is available for your stay, but many guests find they do not need their car to visit many of Falmouth’s attractions. The town and harbour are only a 10 minutes walk away, and from there ferry, bus and train journeys can be planned to local places of interest, such as Truro, St. Mawes and the Helford River. Jenny and Steve aim to provide a clean, comfy and friendly stay. Personal touches such as birthday cakes or special kiddies breakfasts are all catered for. Old-fashioned hospitality is provided which we hope will exceed your expectations for your stay at the San Remo. Early breakfasts are available for visiting workers or those wishing to make an early start. Packed lunches and laundry can also be arranged with prior warning. ... more   less
