We spent a night at this guest house during a two-day visit to Chester. We received a cordial welcome and were shown to our room, which though small was warm and comfortable and even had complementary biscuits. The breakfast was lovely and great value. The location is great for visiting the city centre. It's virtually next door to the Grosvenor...

Lovely clean room. Great bathroom. Tasty breakfast. Five minutes walk to shops/bars/restaurants. Friendly staff. Managed to get a parking space right outside. There is a six pound per day fee (on a weekday) but as the guest house has no car park then this to be expected. Only small criticism is that there was only one pillow each. Highly recommended.

Really friendly and helpful staff that went out of the way to make the stay as comfortable as possible. Considering how close the guest house is to the town the price was outstanding. The rooms are large and clean. Planning our next trip soon!

After the initial misunderstanding with regards to the booking detail, which the owner rectified to our satisfaction prior to the stay. we arrived for a Fri-sun break The room was comfortable, had all we required, shower, tea tray, tv, good brekkie and free parking...... lets review that! We were guided to park on a local car park 1 min away....

Had a lovely 2 night stay at the Grosvenor and found the place a treat. Within easy reach of the city centre and other places of interest. Rooms are comfortable and are double glazed and warm, quiet too. Breakfast was nice with a good choice of stuff. Staff are extremely friendly. Am looking forward to a return visit next year...

Small b & b but room had all we needed and was modern. We had a room on the top floor which was double glazed and quiet. We stayed on a Sunday and Monday night so was generally quiet but b & b opposite a pub so not sure if this is different on other nights. Breakfast was very good....

Myself and my partner stopped over here for the weekend. The location was perfect could not have been a better choice. The guest house its self was lovely and defiantly value for money. Iain was very friendly and welcoming. The room was very clean and tidy with all facility's there to make your stay a comfortable one. The cooked breakfast...

We booked a long weekend 26th to 28th September. Ian and staff were extremely helpful allowing an early check in to allow for us to go to the Races. Whilst the rooms are not over large they are certainly adequate and spotlessly clean. The breakfast were good and the deal offers excellent value for money. We can certainly recommend it....

This place is perfectly located and quite well priced.. Lack of parking adds about 12 pound a day to the cost so drivers beware. The rooms were refurbished some time back and are showings signs of wear..a little more maintenance would have made a big difference. Also there is no lounge for guests and as the rooms are quite small...

Many thanks for your review. I thnk you have made some very important points. I am pleased that you thought your stay was good value for money as that is our main aim. We have avoided turning the Guest House into a boutique hotel expressly because our rooms are small. Our guest house is a 3 storey georgian town house....

Recently stayed here for 1 night as a treat for my boyfriend's birthday - what a fab find! Such a great location, about a 2 minute walk into town where all the bars, restaurants and shops are and a 5 minute walk to the river. Paul & Cathy were brilliant hosts and looked after us from the minute we checked...
