No frills hotel - as expected. Friendly staff. Car park is a bit small. Breakfast was also no frills!

We booked this hotel through superbreaks along with entrance to Chester Zoo, for just over £100 all in for 2 adults and a child of 12 so very reasonable. Wasn't sure what to expect when only paying what we did. We arrived and we're met with a very friendly reception from the 2 ladies on the desk who explained everything...

Stayed here for a 30th Birthday night out. Location is about 5 miles from Chester itself but taxis were pretty cheap when shared between about 4/5 people. Rooms were nice and clean, bed was very comfy. Breakfast was nice (choice of cereal, fruit, yogurt and cooked breakfast) Ideal place to stay if looking for a cheap place to stay while...

To be honest, I didn't expect much when walking into the hotel; the decor does look a little tired, however, the excellent food and wonderful staff make up for it! I would recommend this hotel to anyone visiting the area (approx 10-15 mins away from the Zoo)... after a full day at the zoo, we had a lovely relaxing swim...
