This is a small hotel on the outskirts of Chester. About 20 minutes walk from the centre. The hotel is on a main road and buses can be used if one wishes. The hotel is traditional with chalet buildings in the grounds. We stayed in one of these and although very small it was comfortable and warm and clean. The... More

Stayed three nights in two chalet rooms. Clean, comfortable, warm, homely. Beds great clean linen, towels white and big changed daily. Bathroom spotless, shower temperamental but plenty of hot water for washing and baths. Staff wonderful from reception to housekeeping, nothing too much trouble. Nathan's breakfasts all you could eat. Buses on the doorstep. Planning to return.

Only a 15 - 20 minute stroll from the City centre, with a few Pubs and restaurants even closer. We had a large and comfortable annexe room, with car parking directly outside. The main Hotel is very welcoming and clean. Very friendly staff. Very good breakfasts on both mornings of our stay.

This is an excellent place to stay. The receptionist (who also works at breakfast in the restaurant) is delightful and the location is great. I was staying on my own to catch up with old school friends from 40 years ago and see some football matches and the room was ideal. Breakfast was excellent. I would definitely return when next... We were located in the Courtyard annexe. The room was large, warm, comfortable and very quiet. Breakfast in the main hotel was good. We will be returning on our way back home in a couple of weeks and have asked for the same room for two nights
