We booked Brookside at the last minitue for a anniversary break. Only one night but we would recommend it. Great staff Anne-Marie and Ben were so nice and helpful. We had a small double room, it was fresh clean and had a shower and toilet en suit, not to big but i have been in smaller ones. The breakfast was...

We booked a "small double" room for 2 nights and would not have wanted to stay in it any longer. The room wasn't a decent size single, never mind a double. The bed was more like a three-quarter bed and there was no room around it. The shower was a joke: not enough power and the hot water cut off...

Very clean and tidy, nice little bar and eating room, Don't think too many people will be disappointed but equally you wouldn't rave too much. The food in the evening was average and breakfast was ok, but service lacking a little. They ask how you would like your EGGS cooking but you only get 1 OK for £55 per night...

Traditional B&B about 10 minutes walk from Chester town center. Good base and a decent size car park, although quite a squeeze to get into if there are bigger cars already in the way. The staff were helpful, especially the young guy on reception. Rooms were nice, spacious and a good bath / shower - although we did find it...

Hotel quirky but clean & tidy. My room was small but did it's job & was pleased with the welcome we got from front of house to the waiting on staff. Location very handy only 10 mins walk to city centre. Breakfast good plenty of choice & served the old fashioned way no lukewarm buffet style here. Had a enjoyable...

We were greeted well by Marion, so we were encouraged, having recently had a bad experience in a 'managed' hotel. We were warned that most of the staff were new and had only a couple of week's experience, and it showed. Though Anna Maria will be worth her weight in gold once properly settled. In general a good experience, though...
