From the outside this little hotel looks pleasant with nice driveway and mowed lawns, the reception area is basic and adequate. The staff were only at the desk a few times we came past and were not there the morning we checked out. It is close enough to the town centre, roughly 20 minute walk to the main town. The...

Stayed one night, no internet in the room (212), mould growing on the shower head, hotel needs money spending on it, tired and dated, no cooked breakfast just a continental for £5. didn't find the staff particually helpful. Nice large easy parking car park. Hungry Horse pub just accross the road for good cheap food.

Stained bed, dust, mold, peeling wallpaper and thread bare carpets. Can justify old but not dirty. Wish I'd have read reviews before.

Stayed two nights in Jul2012. Staff friendly, price good for Chester and hotel is close enough to city centre. However, the room was awful. Stained carpet, wallpaper coming off in places, wall cupboard which serves as wardrobe had broken hinge and, in any case, banged into the bedside cabinet when opened. The room (201 - avoid like the plague if...

Stayed here for one night. It is quite close to the city centre - about 20-30 minutes walk or a short bus ride or £3.50 taxi fare. The hotel is a bit tired in places. Stair carpet leading to the room was absolutely threadbare. The room was big enough; one double and one single bed. The beds and pillows were...

The Inn is set on a nice road full of hotels and bnbs and looks quite nice; an old building with a newer extension that is fairly in keeping with it's original style. The reception staff was relatively polite and helpful although he did seem eager to get back to his tv. The room itself was basic but comfortable, with...

Crickey, we thought hotels like this no longer existed. We were offered a room in "the Coach House" - one of the mattresses looked liked an autopsy had been performed there. So we moved to a room in the main building. All windows are painted and cannot be opened, the bathroom and shower were appalling, I could go on and...
