Stayed overnight after visiting the races.Room 110, Clean modern. Massive comfortable bed. Excellent breakfast , restaurant/ bar with a view on the top floor.

It is walking distance.. however if you're in a car you may have trouble parking in the 'supposed' hotel car park which is hard to find, we couldn't get in so ended parking in a pay and display 5 mins walk away

About 5-10 mins into
Chester, there are an array of lovely places to each, but I can personally recommend Piccolino, which is a lovely Italian we have been to several times. You can also drive there. The NCP pepper street car park is right opposite. Hope that helps.
