Nice hotel/ pub. Staff all seemed very helpful and pleasant, quite a refreshing change from a lot of places. Breakfast was good each day.particularly the scrambled egg- brilliant.we tried 2 evening meals and they were 'so,so' nothing special but hey it's pub food not restaurant quality or price. So many eating places in the city this wouldn't be a problem for...

Hello, thank you for taking the time to leave this review. It's great to hear such wonderful comments about the staff and I will pass them on. It's unfortunate that you didn't enjoy your evening meal as much as breakfast but as mentioned we pride ourselves on good pub food with locally sourced ingredients at a reasonable price. We hope...

Amazing weekend again at The Coach Inn.. Lovely friendly staff, they couldn't do enough for you. We celebrated our Anniversary & they put some roses on the bed, lovely touch.Food is fantastic, the location couldn't be better central for shopping, cafes & bars & lots to do & see in Chester. I can not wait to return in January.

Hotel is located perfectly, was a little worried about there not being any parking but there was a car park 1 minute walk from hotel which cost £8 over night. The room was huge and had everything we needed. Being in the centre and above a pub we were concerned about noise but we weren't aware of any of it...

Hello, myself and the team at the Coach House are thrilled that you thoroughly enjoyed your stay with us. Yes, as we are in the center of the town it is unfortunate that we don't have our own car parking facilities, however, as you mentioned we are lucky to have the car park on the street next to us as...

Pleasant staff, quick service and very tasty steak ciabatta and pulled pork brioche! Very reasonably priced considering location. Very central to the city, situated right next to the open tour bus. Shame it was too busy to sit outside on a sunny afternoon but busy is good! Thank you!

Thank you for this wonderful review! We are so glad to hear that you enjoyed our lunch time light bite menu. Yes, the tables do fill up very quickly outside when the sun is shining but If you come and dine with us again ask a member of staff to look out for a table if one comes available! We...

Stayed one night. Was a bit afraid of possible noise as the building is not too well noise insulated from the street/square and the pub underneath. But ar 23.00 everything was quiet. A large room, surprisingly modern bathroom compared to the building - much better than expected. A bit "unevenness" you have to expect from a building like this, just...

Helllo, thank you very much for taking the time to write this review. Being in the center of town there is always a fear of some external noise but I am glad to hear that your sleep wasn't disturbed. The pub itself is always quiet by 11pm with some exceptions on weekends as we think that is very important to...

Great location. Very friendly staff and good value. Had the corner room. Room 1 great views and lovely and big. Great bed and a fresh cooked breakfast in the morning. What else do you need. The only downside was it was very warm in the room so we left the windows open but then you hear the noise but it's...

Arrived after a long flight from Australia to be greeted warmly an room ready (although we arrived before normal check in). No lift but Phil (one supervisor) carried our 2 cases up to our room. The room overlooked the Cathedral and Northgate. The room was well appointed and not too warm. Bed comfy. Meals (brekkie and dinner) were most enjoyable...

2 for the price of 1 on steak Tuesday can't beat it, the food tasted fantastic especially the sweet potato fries they do.
