We stayed here on a Saturday night as we had been for a day out at the races it is only a 10 min walk from the racecourse so ideal. It is a lovely hotel, very impressive decor. I was slightly disappointed with our room though, it was nice don't get me wrong, but priced at £180 per night (that...

We had a great family night here last night. Haddock and chips were delicious. And the fish pie was snaffled up by everyone else. The desserts were delicious and the staff were friendly and efficient. I would definitely come back here. The location is great and the ambience of the pub is lovely.

Booked as a special treat for my boyfriend's birthday and we weren't disappointed. Hotel is lovely. Very modern, clean and quirky. The garden is brilliant for couples. Only downside is that cocktails and alcoholic drinks are very expensive, but atmosphere is lovely. Would definitely stay here again.

I absolutely loved the Decor of Oddfellows, no surprise there! We stayed for one night for a general weekend trip to Chester. Loved the atmosphere of Oddfellows, however we stayed on a Saturday night and the bar was very audible from the room. If you're looking for an early night... to sleep... then don't book here! If you're looking for...

Invited to an 18th birthday party as friends of the hosts rather than the birthday girl last week. Was pleasantly surprised by the interior decor and the rather nice outside terrace - pity the weather was wet otherwise I would have gone outside to sit. Drinks were a little pricey but not ridiculously so. Private party room was very nice....

Very good hotel in the centre of Chester. You can't fault the individuality of the hotel. The design features of the public areas and rooms shows so much imagination and style and clearly the hotel is extremely popular with the younger generation.  The hotel has a lovely outside courtyard area popular with drinkers and smokers alike. At around 11pm someone...

Visted this afternoon (2nd July). Came on hen party for my niece so all arrangements made for us. Never visited before and found place interesting and quirky. Had the Madhatters afternoon tea in private room. Served fizz on arrival then tea and coffee arrived. Found it very strange to be served in stainless steel insulated jugs rather then china tea\coffee...

My colleague and i hosted a small business dinner here. The setting is quirky and fun. It encouraged our guests to accept their invitation. Staff are very nice and accommodating. Food was good: banquet style service was a challenge for them, but not awful. B bedroom very nice for a single traveler: it would not work for a couple who...
