Disappointing second visit on a Sunday afternoon. Bar staff served locals first and told me to wait. Then disappeared owing my change, did something else and returned then gave me my change. Pub was not busy so see no reason to take 10 minutes to serve me. Won't return.

My sister and I spent a Saturday night at this pub and were delighted with everything. It over delivered on our expectations. Our room was very attractive, comfortable and well appointed. It even had a coffee machine. It was very clean and well maintained. The beds were very comfortable. Our meals were excellent. The Greek influenced Saturday night menu was...

Enjoyed Sunday lunch at this pub on 19th March. Menu was a surprise - mostly Greek/Mediterranean - and food was delicious. Service was also excellent and friendly, and it's a nice spot alongside the river. I shall definitely return.

Spent 3 nights here early in the week, a relaxed homely place, breakfast cooked to order, evening food from two menus early week a bar menu, rest of the week a Mediterranean based menu with additions and specials, all well presented and good wholesome food. Good wine selection. Well appointed rooms and in room facilities. If you are on a break...

Our room 2 was wonderful. Double aspect windows with river views. The decor and bedding very nice lndeed. The menu however is extremely limited to a Mediterranean choice. Noise from the bar escalated from early afternoon and ended with shouting and fighting outside our bedroom window. We couldn't have a shower in the morning due to dangerously scalding hot water...

Stayed for one night on a business trip as my usual accommodation in Ely was fully booked - and I'm so glad I did ! I booked a very reasonable Superior Room with great dual aspect views. Immaculately presented and great comfy bed. The staff were great, very friendly and attentive, dinner was very tasty and make sure you don't...

Only stayed for one night. Nicely decorated room and clean bathroom. The room I stayed in had a riverside view, nespresso coffee machine and a smart TV connected to wifi. These little things make a big difference. Bar and restaurant were closed when I stayed can only imagine sitting on the decking in the lighter nights would add to this...

What a lovely friendly place. I got together with some old work friends from Ely and picked a pub half way between us all. The service was so friendly and warm and attentive. Food was lovely and very generous portions. The waitresses were so polite and couldn't help enough. There was a monthly band on that night which was a...
