Stopped in here last minute due to an early business meeting in Cambridge this morning. I managed to get a good rate for the hotels/b&bs of Cambridge last minute - £125. Arrived after 8pm but owner was very friendly and helpful, advising me of somewhere to grab dinner (the Old Spring) and offering me a different room if the newly...

Stayed at Lynwood House for a long week-end break. This is a really great little B&B, just a short walk along the river or bus ride into the centre of Cambridge. The hosts are friendly and engaging, our room was clean, cosy and nicely decorated and the breakfast was amazing. Will definitely try and stay here again next time we...

We chose Lynwood House on the basis of reviews and were not disappointed. The hosts, Julie and Nick were warm and welcoming and full of ideas about where to eat and things to do in Cambridge. We noticed a picture of Nick as one of the oars in an eight at the Henley Regatta and since we also have a...

Stayed two nights late January. Room really comfy and very clean. We had the front ground floor room and although you can hear some traffic, it's not a massive issue as it appears to be a quiet enough road overnight. The breakfast is a real pleasure. Excellent variety and beautifully cooked. Very pleasantly served and presented.

We stayed here for a few nights when visiting friends. The room was beautiful and pristine. The bed was one of the most comfortable I'd ever slept in. Having free wifi, a curved smart tv and a coffee machine (nespresso) was a massive luxurious bonus. The bathroom was clean and modern with high quality towels and toiletries supplied. I can't...

I stayed two nights for work in their single room and loved the amazing breakfast (so much choice, everything made fresh and delicious), the super luxurious linens and just overall how comfy everything is in the room. Walking distance to some great pubs...

This B&B is set slightly out of Cambridge town centre but is an easy walk or regular buses run from pretty much outside the house. Our room was an ok size and the bathroom was airy and clean, the bed and pillows were very comfy. The couple who run the B&B are very helpful and will leave a key in...

We loved our stay at Lynwood House. Julie is a perfect host and delivers a delicious home cooked full English breakfast. We had a large, very comfortable and clean room with a bath in the ensuite. It is an easy 15 minute walk to the centre of town and there are a number of dinner options close by.

Everything you could ask for in our room, coffee machine, tea, bottled water / biscuits. Fantastic location, 15 minute walk by the river into city.
