Perfect location with walking distance to the town centre and easy access for walks along the river Cam. The accommodation is comfortable and cosy, and despite being on Newmarket Rd we were not disturbed by the traffic. The house is beautifully renovated and filled with beautiful furniture, arts and crafts. Entrance from the courtyard via a spiral staircase creates a...

My 20 year old daughter spent 2 weeks with Janet at White Cottages in July 2012. Janet was her "UK Mom" and I felt better knowing Janet was watchig out for her. Janet was so friendly and helpful! She introduced her to other young people in Cambridge. She let my daughter use her kitchen and even helped with laundry! It...

Spent one night at white cottages. nice environment, nice breakfast. it's worth to stay with, and you can learn a lot of interesting story about the university from the household, who is a really nice and considerate lady. The location is not too far from city center. You can walk along the river then reach the school area within 20 minutes.

My husband and I recently stayed at White Cottages. Janet is a gracious, sweet and incredibly fun woman! Our stay was lovely and she took great care of us. The accommodations are so beautiful and Janet's homemade breakfasts are delicious and so thoughtfully prepared. We will be back in Cambridge next year and have already let Janet know that we'll...

It felt like staying at a friend's house; including a cup of tea in bed. 20 minutes walk along the canels to get into the town. We had such...

My partner and I stayed here as we were visiting Cambridge for the weekend. We received a warm welcome from Janet who made us feel very much at home. The bed was comfortable and the house cosy and warm despite the icy conditions outside. The bathroom is newly decorated with a powerful shower and deep bath. There was no shower...

At the end of a fairly long and exhausting business trip I decided to visit Cambridge for a few days. I wanted to stay close to the city, but far enough not to get caught up in the city traffic. White Cottages B&B proved the perfect place! I can’t say enough about the hostess, Janet Parr. She made me feel...

White Cottages are in fact, as told by its owner Janet Carr, converted from her husband's Betting shops, but don't let this put anyone off, as they have been beautifully renovated and extremely tastefully decorated. Although not in the centre of Cambridge, the accommodation is within a pleasant 20min walk along the river Cam. Passing the various College boathouses, en...
