Well first of all I got there and I couldn't get in, hotel door closed and also bar/ restaurant door closed. Managed to eventually get in. Anyway..... The window in my room had a gap in meaning at night being next to A road it was very noisy. Couldn't get a shower as no hot water at all. Internet doesn't...

Spent a week at the hotel in May 2016 while working nearby, accommodation close to our work location isn't all that plentiful so were hopeful of this venue.. I'd write more but I am currently awaiting a response to a query raised in June 2016 over incorrectly invoicing me for the stay - quite a feat as it was pre-authorised...

We booked at the Tree on the 17th Aug having stayed before we knew the food would be good and the room average. Arrived at 2100 two lads in the bar using foul language not a good start, but worse to come. Was told that the restaurant was closed as the chef wanted to go out with his friends, unbelievable...

Called in on our way back from camping, great food and great service. Nice decor and friendly staff. Great Kids meals. Very novel to have a traditional pub menu and great curries on the same menus. Great puddings. Recommend as a good stop and will definitely tag for coming back.

We chose this hotel because it was closed to the M40. It does border the M40, but it's a fair journey of about 6 miles to get to the hotel from the M40. Check in was a bit strange with the barmaid not sure if our room was occupied, knocking on the door first to see if there was anyone...

I was organising a get together for family and needed a few rooms in order to put them up overnight and provide a breakfast the next day and we stayed as well to be together. I had intended for us all to eat there too for a celebration meal. I tried to book the table for 12 people on the...

We chose this hotel as the location was ideal for where we were visiting, had not read the most recent reviews and can say that it appears things have improved slightly. Our meals were good for the price, tasty, well presented and no upset tummies, we are not talking five star quality here but we were happy with what we...

Adding insult to injury, after I stayed at this over priced, run down place, they charged my card an unauthorised second amount ( over £100). I still have had no credible explanation or apology. After innumerable phone calls, emails etc over two weeks I finally got a response and managed to get the money back. One "explanation" was that they...

If you like poor quality frozen food this is the place for you. If not, give this place a wide berth. We had 2 rooms for 2 nights. We ate in the restaurant on the first night. The menu heavily influenced by Indian choice. Popadoms where soft certainly not freshly prepared, no chutney or other dips just some awful pickles....
