When I made the appointment for a one night stay (Saturday to Sunday) the photos available in the booking.com website surprised me. I thought good quality for a good price. The reality however is a bit different. The room was very small but adequate and clean. Nothing to mention here, it is perfect for a one night stay. The breakfast... More

We stopped here on the way to meet a family member. The reason we considered the Wendover Arms was that they took dogs and we had our Labrador with us having just returned from holiday. The room was clean but small, there were two of us and we were falling over each other, yet there were three beds. We had... More

This was fine for one night but I wouldn't want to be there any longer. It was a large pub in a residential area which has been converted to a smaller bar with around 15 to 20 bedrooms. The conversion was fairly recent and a bit of a cheap job by the look of it but again OK. The bar... More

There was dust all through the bathroom, bed was lumpy, duvet and pillow thin and old, and the wi-fi was free, albeit very slow. My main issue, however, was the fact that I had booked for a quiet room as I was staying in the hotel for work, and had to be up at 5am. Having arrived at the hotel... More

We used this place just for the night. It served the purpose as somewhere to sleep, shower and breakfast. Not somewhere I would stay for a weekend break. The room was small but clean and tidy. We were unlucky enough to have someone in the room next door who spent all night talking. You are aware of doors shutting and... More

Stayed here for one night as our eldest was starting university, not a bad hotel it can be a little noisy at night with people banging doors but it wasn't a massive problem and that would be my only complaint, I would definitely stay again the wendover is In good location with the town being just at the bottom of... Stayed here 18th September overnight, very noisy , with constant door banging well into the night. The hotel is a cheap, no frills establishment. Clean enough, but sheets were iffy . Staff polite, didn't have the overpriced breakfast , and when I asked for a coffee, got instant at 2.50 , in spite of a proper coffee machine in the... More

I had to stop in High Wycombe overnight due to immediate hospitalisation of my next of kin. I found this great little hotel quite close to the hospital. It has recently been refurbished throughout the bedrooms and the cost was minimal (half that of the nearby 'Chains'. Basic but good food was available at the hotel. The room was clean... More

Stayed here for 1 night with a work colleague (2 rooms) Both rooms were clean and beds comfy. Bathroom was ok...broken toilet seat so sit lightly if you need to. TV was above the main door and bathroom door...couldn't see the screen from the bed. If you are staying on the ground floor expect a warm stay as you won't... More

We only stayed for one night in the recent extention on the ground floor. The room was small and smelt awful. The plug for the tea & coffee was inconviently located above the pillow. The bathroom had nowhere to put toiletries. The shower was not sealed on the joints. We spent very little time in the room.Would not recommend.
